The master cylinder is an independent part of the hydraulic brake system. If you had solid pedal after bleeding the brakes, and there are no apparent leaks, you should be fine.

Nope. Everything after the brake lines. And lots of brake fluid. Also some blue thread locker. Just torquing them to speck isn’t quite enough.
