Answered by Grace G. / Wed, Aug 18I agree with previous person answering. This is the sensor for the low engine oil pressure. I replaced this switch because I was getting a low engine oil light on idle. I replaced it on my 2006 Chevy Colorado Pickup. This fixed my problem.
