Question: I want to know if this is the switch i need to increase my fan speed so when i do run the AC the car does not overheat?Brandon / Sep 04, 2021 / 1991 Chevrolet V35004-Seasons Oe Replacement A/C Switch - Direct Fit
Hi B.K., I'm pleased to assist you. No. This item doesn't increase nor change the fan speed of the vehicle. This item is a cut-out switch for the A/C. We suggest that a certified mechanic diagnose your vehicle to pinpoint the part that causes overheating for replacement. For maintenance parts, we have a sale on coolant/antifreeze. To get one for your vehicle, click this link: https://www.carparts.com/search?q=coolant We hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Question: I read where this switch replaces the old single wire type. So how do you wire it in place of the single wire type? I'm thinking that one wire attaches to the original harness wire and the remaining wire goes to ground. Is this correct? Thanks!Tom M. / Apr 19, 2025 / 1991 Chevrolet V35004-Seasons Oe Replacement A/C Switch - Direct Fit
Hi Tom, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. One wire is for the main signal (positive terminal), and the negative wire is for the ground connection to complete the circuit. If your car/truck/SUV appears in the vehicle fitment information (after selecting the year, make, model, submodel, and engine size), it is guaranteed to fit.
