The part that exemplifies bad Chevrolet designWasher Reservoir Filler Neck, With Cap, 4 Cyl., 1.5L Engine
4.0/5
It's the best washer reservoir filler neck only I have ever owned. Well, except for the one that the car had before a Certified Chevrolet mechanic (probably) left it on the bench as 'spare parts' when he replaced the battery cooling radiator that got taken out by a small piece of road debris. So, we have the double dirty dog of Chevrolet design (a radiator that gets hit by road debris, and a washer reservoir that has a filler neck as a separate part - double dirty dog dag nasty bad design!) turned to a trifecta of Chevrolet FUBAR when the mechanic leaves it sitting on the bench.

Hi, We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/

You have to peel up the plastic fairing between the radiator support and the front grill/bumper area. The silly little plastic clips need to have the center part pulled up. A knob spreads a fork on the underside, so the knob needs to let the fork collapse. Be careful so you do not break too many of those precious plastic clips holding the precious plastic fairing. I only took out about half of the plastic clips and pulled back the fairing enough to slip in the filler neck. Once you get under the fairing, the filler neck slips right into the reservoir, and the hanger points to the front of the car and fits into a hole the size of the hanger. Then put as many plastic clips as you did not break back in place, push the center tab down so the know spreads the fork and holds the plastic fairing firmly (sic) in place.
