The engine was leaking coolant and it didn't take too long to realize it was the original, lower, inlet manifold gasket that had failed. Several hours later, the engine was ready to have the new one installed. Another half day of cleaning and rebuilding and the first start proved a correct diagnosis, a good repair and a working (non-leaking) engine. I had checked the manual first and it recommended getting the upper inlet manifold gaskets too. It would have been good if someone had mentioned buying new o-rings for the fuel injectors, as they needed to be replaced while I was so far into the top of the engine. Perfect fit, delivered on time in a good box. Very strange looking gasket!
