These mirrors are a great improvement to the older style that came with my original 1998 E-SuperDuty. However, the CarParts website listed these are garaunteed to fit the E-SuperDuty (E-450), but they do not exactly fit my Class C RV (which is built on the 98 E-Superduty front end. I think the mirrors are compatible with the standard 1998 Econoline series. I bought these mirrors to use on my Class C RV, which is a '98 E-SuperDuty engine/front end. The Class C RV version of the Econoline van has different mounting holes. I had to saw off one mounting collar on the mirror and drill one new hole in the door frame and expand another hole already there. With some minor modifications, I was able to install the mirrors on the Class C RV version of the E-Superduty. I followed the process as seen on Youtube (the video is title "How to install new aftermarket side mirrors on a Minnie Winnie") The original mirrors for my Class C RV are made by Velvac and you can find them online, but the Kool Vue mirror is cheaper and (in my opinion) has better visibility. It appears that the only difference between the standard 98 E-Superduty(E-450) and the Class C RV version is the mount bolt positions. With the modifications made, the mirrors are solid and fit tight into the door mounting position. If you buy these for a Class C RV, expect to do some modification work.
