Needed to have one of the catalytic converters replaced on my daughter’s Impala. The shop quoted her a little over $1,000 for the part alone! To be able to purchase it ourselves for almost $500 cheaper was a blessing within itself!!

Hi Albert, I'm pleased to assist you. This catalytic converter is non-returnable. Choosing the right converter nowadays can be a bit complicated since New Jersey (NJ) is now CARB-compliant. CARB stands for California Air Resources Board, and it is a state agency that was created to help combat air pollution. Moving forward, NJ will be using CARB catalytic converters. However, if your vehicle previously used Federal emissions, it's always best to verify the current requirements with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission or a qualified mechanic who is knowledgeable about emissions regulations in the state.
