I was having trouble with my Ford car engine flooding with gas when I fueled up. Either the car would not start for over an hour or I had to keep the car running while I pumped the gas and I would have to accelerate the engine to prevent the car from cutting off. Immediately after installing this part the car performed like new. I could pump gas normally and the installation was a breeze with the snap on fittings that came with the kit! Excellent part and a quick fix!

Answered by Arnel E. / Mon, Mar 06Hi, I have a ford escape 2014. I didn't want to pay 150.00 for the purge valve. It came with everything on it, but the purge valve was the only problem. I purchased this and was easy to install. Dont over cut the line. It should work. The connectors are like shark bites. You press the line into the couplers to take them apart you press the ends of the couplers it releases the line. Works well I hope this helps.
