Just had to put it in place and hit it with my fists to pop it on. Couldn't be easier. I do wish the screws for the License Plate were included, but that's fine.

There were not any specific instructions but the bracket fits the contour of the bumper and I believe there were indents in the bumper where the rivets go. I had to take the car to a local auto shop because my rivet gun would not grip the plastic rivets, that were provided, properly. They finally used aluminum rivets to fasten the bracket because they did not have a rivets gun that fit. I think you might be able to skip the rivets and just attach the bracket to the bumper with bolts. That us what the local Ford dealer said would work with the Ford production bracket.

There is no video. So I just centered it on the front where it fits the best and drilled and used coarse thread screws to mount the bracket.

Question: Does it come with mounting hardware?Norman D. / Sep 30, 2020 / 2017 Ford EscapeFront License Plate Bracket
Hi Norman, As per checking, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.

It comes with plastic pop rivets. I used self tapping screws and plated flat washers and drilled very small pilot holes. This worked well and was very easy.

It does not, I had to purchase it myself. I used some short sheet metal screws from the hardware store and just drilled them in, no pilot hole needed.
