When we remove the old broken one it’s attached to the “trunk area” of the car with one set of cords with one plug, but it’s also connected straight into each of the separate bulb sockets. Do we remove the old one using the ONE plug that goes straight into the car, or remove the several bulb sockets? Hi Holly,
This is a plug and play install and already comes complete with the bulbs and the wiring harness with its socket connector as well. Based on the image, this has a one socket connector plug. The image is application specific. If the main wiring harness on your vehicle is sort of damaged by an accident, you will have to have it rewired on your trusted local auto repair shop to avoid any grounded or short circuit issues later.
