I bought this locking gas cap to fit a 2003 Mercury Marquis but it didn't fit. But I tried it on my 2003 Ford F150 pickup and it fit perfectly. So it gets four stars because it was useless for what I bought it for.

Hi Larry, I am pleased to assist you. This is a locking fuel cap designed to secure your vehicle’s fuel tank. To install, align the cap onto the filler neck, insert the key, and turn it to engage the locking mechanism. Once locked, remove the key, and the cap should stay securely in place. If it doesn’t lock, ensure it is properly seated and compatible with your vehicle. Some users find it helpful to watch installation videos, such as those available on YouTube.
