Hi Terry, I'm glad to help you out. Yes, you'll have to remove the old ones first to be able to install this mirror glass. there is a backing plate at the back for attachment and just plug in the connectors for the signal lights. Hi Terry, I'm glad to help you out. You can use a screwdriver to separate the backing plate from the housing and unplug the connector. After that, take the remaining glass off the backing plate, put adhesive on the new glass, and install put it on the backing plate. Plug in the connector and push the mirror and backing plate back into the housing until it snaps back in. I hope this helps. You can use the link below if you haven't ordered the mirrors yet.
