The only reason I am not rating 5 starts is because I ordered a set of side mirrors and they came depersonalization separately on different days (thought the set would come together in the same box). Other than that, the parts were correct and easily installed.

Question: HOW DO YOU INSTALL ?JIM A. / May 15, 2020 / 2011 Ford F-150Driver Side Mirror Glass, Heated, Non-Towing, No Turn Signal Light, With Backing Plate
Hello. Generally, if you are replacing your mirror glass, it is already cracked so we don't need to worry about breaking it! If your mirrors have electric adjusters, it can help to adjust them all the way in a direction that allows you to disconnect the heating element wires, and "pop" out the mirror. To install the new mirror, apply even pressure across a large surface area to avoid cracking, and it will "snap" in place. Let me know if you need any more help!

Question: My 2010 F150 mirror also has a 2 wire plug. What's  this for? And do you have this part?Don B. / Jan 19, 2021 / 2011 Ford F-150Driver Side Mirror Glass, Heated, Non-Towing, No Turn Signal Light, With Backing Plate
Hi Don, It is possible that the 2 wire plug on your original mirror is for the heating feature. You can have it verified by a local mechanic or thru the dealership. We have limited supply of this item with heated feature.

It is for defrosting. This mirror is super easy to install. No special tools needed, it snaps in pace. The instructions are simple.

One is for the heater and the other one is for the motor.
