Yes, this is actually the factory OEM(original) oil filler cap. This is tightened the exact same way as of the original oil filler cap.

This part shows a fitment for 1985 to early 1990's a ford engine 3.0L, 5.0L, 5.8L..but not showing a 5.4L engine fitment. To accurately check if this is the correct one for your vehicle, please follow the steps below.
