Question: What does this O2 sensor regulate?  I have a 3012 f150 xlt 5.0 4x4, with 250,000 miles on it.  It was running rough, all of a sudden, and after some research and talking to a few machanic friends.  I'm was convinced it had to b  one of the O2, sensors,  which were original.  I changed both sensors on the driver's side but is still running rough.  It also comes up to temp very quick,. which it never did b4, and the temps it's getting to are also a lot higher than normal.  Please advise.Joseph K. / Feb 27, 2021 / 2012 Ford F-150Oxygen Sensor, Sold Individually, 4-Wire, Motorcraft Oe Replacement
Hi Joseph, There might be some other issues besides the part you have replaced. For accurate diagnostic and repair, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for details about this particular problem you are encountering. But still, it is best to consult your trusted local auto repair shop or dealership for a certified mechanic to do an extensive careful troubleshooting and do the appropriate repair.
