This front bumper came out of the box in great condition and the quality is of great quality hadn't had a chance to install it but it looks like a perfect fit

Hi Erik, I'm glad to assist you. No. It is incompatible. We are out of stock of the front chrome bumper bar for your 1997 Ford F150 (part number 9841). We have only the lower valance available (part number 9833).
