I was skeptical, to say the least. This kit is much less expensive than anything from the mainline diesel performance shops, and the egr cooler is a well-known weak link in the 6.0.
This kit arrived and I was immediately relieved; the cooler is updated, true stainless, beautifully welded, and the kit is as complete as any on the market.
Installation went as smoothly as it could for a 20-year-old diesel, with no issues post-install.
Absolutely worth every penny.
Oh, and use Summit Racing branded head studs; another cost-cutter in the 6.0 world that is often overlooked but work flawlessly.
