Hi Robert, I'm glad to help you out. Unfortunately, it doesn't. The temperature sensor on the engine is different from the one mounted on this thermostat housing. I hope this helps and happy shopping.

Answered by Arnel E. / Mon, May 17The sensor on the housing is the same as the original part - be cautious about the replacement because some Ranger/Mazda engines are of a type with an engine-mounted heat sensor, others have a sensor mounted on the thermostat housing as this one does. I don't know if an engine that has an original engine-mounted sensor can use a substitute of a housing-mounted sensor. Note that the advice from carparts.com is negative - they don't believe they can be interchanged.
