This is very solidly built! Way better than the OEM handle, and the plastic part that broke on the original is made of metal on this version... it's going to last longer than the truck. Installation is a bit fussy, but there are several good videos on how to do it...

You need to drill out the rivits and replace with small bolts. The handles are metal bout the hinge is plastic as this is the only part that breaks. We need all metal handles. Mine are broke again.

Yes they are all metal. Just make sure the ones you order doesn't say plastic. If it doesn't say it's metal. They are made very well.
