Question: Will a camshaft position sensor cause a rough idle at cold start?Harold R. / Apr 07, 2020 / 2001 Ford TaurusCamshaft Position Sensor, Sold Individually
Hello – It’s possible but highly unlikely that the camshaft position sensor is the cause of your concern. There are many potential causes for a rough idle upon startup, so I suggest either doing some troubleshooting or taking your car to a professional repair facility. Good luck.
