The bumper shipped quickly but my son found out after he attempted to install it that it was the WRONG bumper. There were no other options offered when it was ordered. I ended up having to buy it from Ford, $$$$, but at least it was painted and ready to install. Small consolation, though.

Answered by Arnel E. / Thu, Feb 17You don't have to, but I would at least put some kind of clear on it. it will help in the washing of it getting the road grime & bugs off easier as the won't be into the porous primer. And honestly I think the black goes good with most any color. I also have one of these exact parts that I didn't use If your interested in saving a few $.
