Fits just like OEM, good valuePassenger Side Door Lock Actuator, Blade Type, 2-Prong Male Terminal
5.0/5
Fits & operates just like the OEM part. The shape of the assembly at the electrical connection is slightly different than the factory part, but it doesn't affect installation at all.

Question: Does this fit on the lift gate?Emilio E. / Sep 04, 2020 / 2007 Ford TaurusPassenger Side Door Lock Actuator, Blade Type, 2-Prong Male Terminal
Hi Emilio,
Unfortunately, this door lock actuator is for the rear passenger side door. For accuracy of fitment, please follow the guidelines below:
To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all category, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application.
To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

The part I ordered fit perfectly for the front passenger side door of a 2013 Corolla. However, the smoothness with which the door opens now is not as effortless as the original Toyota part. I guess you get what you pay for?

Answered by Charles H. / Sat, Sep 05Question: My door ajar light is stuck on in my 2009 Ford Ranger. I’m looking to replace the faulty part myself but I’m not sure what part controls it. Does this door actuator control the door ajar light?Benjamin P. / Sep 04, 2022 / 2007 Ford TaurusPassenger Side Door Lock Actuator, Blade Type, 2-Prong Male Terminal
Hi Benjamin, I'm glad to assist you. The door lock actuator may be defective already or if grounded wiring occurred. It is hard to give input without actually troubleshooting the problem part and affected area. Please have it checked by your trusted local auto repair shop or mechanic. I hope this helps.

Door ajar switch plugs into door lock mechanism. It's a pain in the butt to get access to it. One mechanic I went to spent 1.5 hrs and couldn't figure out how to do it. Check YouTube for how to videos.

Hi Jeffrey,
I do not have access to that information, but you can contact your local dealership for specifications or you may refer to the vehicle's repair manual.
