Fits & operates just like the OEM part. The shape of the assembly at the electrical connection is slightly different than the factory part, but it doesn't affect installation at all.

The part I ordered fit perfectly for the front passenger side door of a 2013 Corolla. However, the smoothness with which the door opens now is not as effortless as the original Toyota part. I guess you get what you pay for?

Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, Sep 05Door ajar switch plugs into door lock mechanism. It's a pain in the butt to get access to it. One mechanic I went to spent 1.5 hrs and couldn't figure out how to do it. Check YouTube for how to videos.
