Question: I had both headlamps installed and the driver side one does not shine out very far and there is shadow (line) that goes across out in front where the headlight shines. Could this be a defect in the headlamp? I had both headlamps installed as well however, my experience is not like yours. Both h/lamps are working fine. perhaps you need to have someone look at the way your bulbs are sitting in the lamp holders, Cheers

I had to send one back because a chrome piece on the inside that goes over the light had falling off and was loose in the headlamp. Check to see if this has happen..

the both of mine worked just fine on both sides, so maybe the one that is not shining is defective.
