Question: 01 ,GMC Savana 3500,,misfiring on 1&3 had new plugs,cap,rotor wires,installed prior to misfiring & now put new coil,cap,rotor still misfiring & now experience no start couldn't be ignition module

Police found it 3 hours later dead in the middle of the street 6 miles from my home. Truck was towed back to my house and wouldn't start. Changed the fuel filter, cap and rotor. After the new cap and rotor was installed, truck ran for a couple minutes and died. The ignition module of your vehicle is the heart of your entire ignition system. Its two main roles are to create a spark strong enough to ignite the air/fuel mixture for combustion and to control the timing of the spark plugs by opening and closing the ignition coil ground circuit. The module resembles a small electrical box with a wire harness. It is usually located on or in the distributor housing in domestic vehicles, and on the firewall or wheel-well in foreign vehicles. The two most common symptoms of a failing ignition module is Overheating and Sudden failure.
Still, for accurate diagnostic and repair, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for details about this particular problem you are encountering.
