Question: Will a worn EGR line cause spark plugs to foul out. I changed my plugs and they fouled out within 60 miles of driving with soot on my 1998 GMC Sierra 1500. ?Big Willie / Oct 08, 2020 / 1999 GMC C2500Egr Line - Direct Fit
Hi Willie, Here's an excert from one of our reliable resources- "If you find a P0300 code, it means the misfire is random and is moving around from cylinder to cylinder. The cause here would likely be something that upsets the engine's air/fuel mixture, such as a major vacuum leak, leaky EGR valve or unusually low fuel pressure (weak pump or faulty pressure regulator)." But still, it is best to have your vehicle checked by your trusted local automotive shop or dealership for this problem for accuracy on the troubleshooting and diagnostic.
