I purchased the Hellwig helper spring kit for my 1996 Ford F-150 5.0 XLT, wasn’t sure what to expect when I first ordered them, got them because of hauling big loads of firewood, came about 3-4 days after I ordered them, package was a little tore up, but I think that was just from the springs sliding inside the box. Springs were very good quality, nice, black and gray spotted powder coating on them, the only thing that I wasn’t happy about was that the kit didn’t come with it, as expensive as the springs were, I think the mounting kit should have come with them, the mounting kit was an additional $215, but I found them for $176, I believe ( the mounting kit is cheaper on Hellwig’s website ). That took about 2 days to come in, once I got to putting them on, it was a piece of cake putting them together, about 45 minutes apiece for putting one side together and attaching it to the current springs, super smart design, you can unbolt the front 2 and rear 2 unbolts and take the whole assembly off, over all super impressed with the product, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to add more hauling capacity.

Very pleased. Lifted rear end maybe 1.5 to 2 inches. No more sag with a reasonable load. Practically no sway. These do what they promise.
