Question: 1985 chevy S10 2.8. I purchased this fuel pump and a new gas tank they came in but when looking at the old fuel pump taken out it was not electric so the wires don't match up what do I need to get to use this electric pump?Erica G. / Oct 14, 2024 / 1987 GMC S15Fuel Pump, Electric, With Fuel Sending Unit
Hi Erica, thank you for reaching out. We are unable to answer your question accurately since we don't do a mechanical to electric fuel pump conversion. If you have a mechanical fuel pump, the wiring is most likely for the fuel sending unit (fuel gauge) and not designed for the electric fuel pump.
