The part looks and functions like the original but I had to modify it to fit on my vehicle. The mounting holes did not line up exactly and I had to enlarge them to be able to install the part.
I had a difficult time creating the right body panel spacing between the tail light and the trunk. I had to keep enlarging the mounting holes to be able to get the part to move in the right direction and not interfere with the opening and closing of the trunk. I got the panel spacing to work but it’s slightly off from the other side. Also be careful reinstalling the mounting screws. I hand tightened them and still tightened the top one too much and have a slight crack now at the mounting hole. My fault but beware
