Ordered in a pair of Shift Solenoids, fit and quality were excellent. Before installing my transmission would skip shift from first to high gear. Now it shifts smoothly through all the gears.

Answered by zachary / Sat, Sep 26For a Civic, It is on the top of the transmission, or to he more specific the torque converter housing. It's the closest solenoid to the engine. I'm not sure if it's used in other makes or models, or where it's placement would be for other cars.
