I am so glad I paid the extra money and bought a CAPA certified Hood. The weight, rigidity and fit was well worth it. The upcharge was only $30. There was a downside though, as it arrived damaged on one corner. But my friends body shop was able to straighten it out.

The hood for a 2013 honda civic sedan and the hood for a 2005 honda civic coupe are not interchangeable. Hoods are sold pre primed , usually in grey primer .
