We want to clarify that while we advertised that the part fits models built in Japan, we may not have explicitly stated that it is manufactured in Japan. We offer items which are manufactured in different countries. There are some brands that are built in Germany, Japan, US and Asian Countries like China. We assure you that all products are tested thoroughly before shipping and for occurrences that the part gets defective and it is still under warranty, we take full responsibility providing refunds or replacement, depending on our customer’s preference.
