Yes. This item does not have a fluid sensor.

Hi Nealy , I'm glad to assist you. That should be mounted on the reservoir. Please check if you can install it back to its original location, or some work around that you can do to re attach that part. We probably can do a customer service satisfaction rebate of $6 to $7 if you can have it fixed in a shop. If it won't work, you can have it returned and refunded. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.
