I chose the crown over the omni speedometer because it had better reviews. Shipping the part was a joke. There was a single piece of very thin bubble wrap laying over the face of the gauge. Where the cable hooks to the speedometer had protruded through the box. The resistor plate was grounded to the body of the speedometer. Had to file it off. the oblong hole in the plate would not let it slide away any farther. (did no one look at this in quality control)? The power post P2 broke just screwing the nut that holds the resistor plate back on with my fingers (I will try to solder back on). Those post and nuts are way too small. Just remember whomever makes these. To install wires on the gauges someone will be on their back reaching in a very tight space to put the wire terminals on, because the factory wiring plugs will not fit the very small post .

As of our supplier/manufacturer's product data sheet, details say- "Includes Fuel and Temperature Gauges; Reads Up To 85 MPH; Features Re-Engineered Electronics With Overload Protection To Ensure The Gauges Don't Fail If Wired Incorrectly Or With Poor/Broken Wiring; Not Wired The Same As The OE Speedometer Assembly."
