Much like the other end of the tierod bar, this one fit my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with no issues and resolved the death wobbles that occurred at highway speeds due to a previous accident.

Tie rods do not connect to the steering box. These connect to the rack and pinion assembly that has a connection to the steering box.

To insure you get the correct part. Google search Steering linkage diagram. It will show you all parts needed.

Question: brought outer tire rod and one end had a grease nipple can i still put it on my truck laredo ?al b. / Mar 21, 2021 / 2002 Jeep Grand CherokeeFront, Driver And Passenger Side, Outer Tie Rod Ends
Hi Al, That outer tie rod with a grease nipple is a serviceable type. That would still be fine compared to a non greasable type. The one with a grease fitting would last longer and as long as the one you purchased is a direct fit part for your vehicle. You can also check with your mechanic about this to be accurate.
