Hi Tommy, I'm glad to assist you. This part is for the anti lock brake system so your wheels would not lock up on sudden stepping of the brake pedals on unpredictable situations the car needs to stop in a controlled safe manner. This prevents locking of the wheels after a sudden braking happens. If you are having issues with the mileage or speedometer readings on your vehicle not giving accurate reading, you have the replace the transmission input/output speed sensors, not the abs speed sensor.
