Does not fit!Carburetor 1946-1953 Jeep Willys L4 2.2L Engine

This carb is nowhere near the right fit,I can't hook up the governor linkage, which in turn means I can't run the PTO. I can't transfer the old linkage to your carb so there is my rating 0.

Have not been able to see if it works yet. This was said to be delivered on Wednesday then moved to Friday and I then got it the following Thursday. Bolted up but fuel line connection does not match. Went to 4 suppliers and could not find adapters. Called company and was told I had to call Crown. Crown says had never heard of that problem before , get some brake line parts to match up and I bought some but have not been able to try retrofit.

This carb came on time, not a direct replacement, no IPB/paper with suggested adjustments,no choke uses enrichment circuit, accelerater pump was assembled improperly and does not supply fuel thru throttle travel far enough, threads in casting seem to be cut with a dull tap as screws bind, I was unable to adjust idle air jet because of binding of threads, jet is not centered in its hole, now we have a very disgusted customer probably will send back.

Bolted it on to the CJ3A, fired her up and she purred like a kitten with no adjustments needed.

Question: I have a new carb for a F134, M38A1, 1953 Willy’s but the dip stick will not pull out due to fuel inlet being just above it. Which carb is the RIGHT ONE TO USE ?A Shopper / Oct 29, 2020 / 1952 Jeep WillysCarburetor 1946-1953 Jeep Willys L4 2.2L Engine
Hi,
The F134 has 75hp for the 4 Cylinder engine also known as L134. M38A1 was the first vehicle to feature the round fender design. The carburetor measures 6 5/8 in. from the base. Please double-check the measurement. But, based on our application guide, this carburetor you have chosen is guaranteed to fit the year range of 1949-1953 Jeep Willys CJ-3 4 Cyl 2.2Lwith an L-HEAD design.
