Answered by Aldrin P. / Tue, Jan 12These shocks fit on my 1948 CJ2a, but the cotter pins were a little tough to put in place on the shock mounting pin. I would imagine this would be true of all new shocks.

Hi Angela, I'm glad to help you out. This item is incompatible with the 3-4 inch lift. This item is only for a Jeep CJ5 with the standard height. You may need a longer shock absorber to accommodate the lift of your vehicle.
