I own 2 K&N air intake systems. One for 89 Chevy Scottsdale 5.7L and my 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Both exact craftsmanship and I've not had my 89 Scottsdale scanned vitally I have had my 99 before and after. Although running great it on its vital lines diagnostic wise and before having it looked over I planned to install a K&N intake. Wanting for myself to see the HP it's said to apply and feeling it many times over I wanted to see the #'s for myself. To my amazement and long time trusted master mechanic K&N has my Pontiac running a line truly flat and smooth as if it was drawn with a pen and wood ruler.

I wanted a heavy duty filter for my truck. This filter is better than the OEM. It's very easy to remove with the nut fixed on the bottem.

check your owners manual for oil change intervals . filters should be changed everytime the oil is changed .
