Question: 1999 town car interior lights will not turn on when doors open? but they turn on when press switch that turn on head lights. Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, Oct 25Pin switch on door jam turns off and on lights when opening and closing. These switches are relatively cheap and fairly simple to install. Trunk most likely has bad actuator
