Question: Our car 2001 Mercedes s55 amg has a single row of receptacles for the mirror to plug into. This unit appears to have a double row of receptacles on the mirror plug that plugs into the unit in the car. Doesn’t look like it will fit. I have a 2001 CL500 and it fit perfectly except for the mirror housing that came with the set which did not fit 100% like the original, so I ended up using my original mirror housing and it worked perfectly. All electrical connections matched the original part.
