The struts are of good quality and are about an inch longer than the oem so installing them is not a drop in. Also I would suggest getting the long bottom bolt for the drivers side front strut mount as Ford has an issue with the bolt bonding to the strut which causes the bolt to be stuck and the rubber on the strut mount to keep it from turning. I cut it out wit a sawzall and saved the bolt but I'd rather cut the bolt on the nut side and head side and pull it out otherwise it's a two or 3 hour ordeal. Bolt from ford is $18. Explorer rides like new.
