Some vehicles have a separate sending unit and fuel pump. Again depending on your vehicle you can replace just the fuel pump inside the complete unit...Much less expensive but more labor to disassemble and reassemble. Hope that helps.

The one I got had a sending unit on it, cant remember if it said not included, but showed one in the picture. I would suggest ordering one that says sending unit included.

Question: Where is this low pressure fuel pump located on a 2014 Mini Cooper roadster, John Cooper Works S? ArthurArthur O. / May 31, 2024 / 2011 Mini CooperFuel Pump, With Fuel Sending Unit, 4 Cyl., 1.6L, Dohc Engine
Hi Arthur, I'm glad to assist you. It is the only fuel pump assembly in the car and is located in the fuel tank. It is not a low-pressure fuel pump assembly (Drivemotive is our aftermarket version of the OEM part). It is guaranteed to fit the 2014 Mini Cooper John Cooper Works 4 Cyl 1.6L. Question: What are the two holes on the fuel pump for?Gunner / Feb 15, 2024 / 2011 Mini CooperFuel Pump, With Fuel Sending Unit, 4 Cyl., 1.6L, Dohc Engine
Hi Gunner, I'm pleased to assist you. One hole is likely for the fuel inlet, where fuel enters the pump from the fuel tank. The other hole is likely for the fuel outlet, where fuel is pumped out of the pump and sent to the engine. The holes could also be for pressure relief. The fuel pump creates pressure to send fuel to the engine, and these holes could be there to relieve pressure if it gets too high.
