Question: How many bar is this sensor 1, 2, or 3?Jasmine G. / Mar 18, 2023 / 2004 Mini CooperMap Sensor, 4 Cyl., 1.6L Engine, S Model
Hi Jasmine, I'm glad to assist you. It is matching the factory OEM specifications. With the engine, not running and the key on, the MAP sensor should read around 28-inHg. When the engine is started and idling, the vacuum of the engine should reduce atmospheric barometric pressure by 20-inHg. The reading on the scan tool should be approximately 8- to 9-inHg.
