umm... this isn't a answer to my question at all, I asked at what millage does this timing belt need to be replaced, for instance the OEM timing belt can go 96,000KM when driving aggressively and 156,000KM when driven normal according to the service manual, Gates timing belt won't go that long roughly 80,000KM before needing replacement, now I'm asking what is the durability of this timing belt as the last thing I would want is for it to snap when I'm driving, could you reply with the information requested the answer above is of no use to me as it doesn't tell me anything about the durability/reliability of the product. -Mees

There's not necessarily a milage amount until you have to replace this belt, your water pump and gasket will go out before your belt does, but with that being said in order to change out the water pump you have to remove the belt so they give you a new one along with the tensioner and necessary pulleys associated to the job.
