First, it works. The shape is a bit different than the original but not a problem. Second, the original mirror assembly has fixed nuts on the mirror side and bolts are inserted from the door side. This is reversed and the bolts are on the mirror side; you have to buy three 6mm coarse threaded nuts. Third, When I disconnected the electrical part of the mirror, "stuff happened" and the car was not drivable. Reconnection with the new mirror brought it back. Fourth, and the reason for the loss of a star, the cowling has to be put on at the end. Doesn't fit quite right, the tabs are fragile. Of course I busted them. I'm going to repair that with clear Gorrilla glue to wrap up the repair. The electric mirror adjuster works fine.
