Hi Kevin,
The dash cover should fit snugly over the entire dash. First, clean your existing dash and the underside of your new dash cover. Practice putting it in place with tape. Apply the silicone adhesive provided in your kit to the underside of the dash cover around the edges and vent holes. If you want visual instructions, there are a lot of videos on YouTube and Google.
