As I see it, this is pressed forward and backward, If i understood you correctly. Please check with a vehicle specific owners manual for accuracy or check with your local dealership for this.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Sun, Jan 31Just pry it up. The attachments may break off the old one but that's not an issue. Unplug it carefully. Plug in the new one and push the new switch into place.
