Hi Juan,
This part is guaranteed to fit the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6 Cyl 3.6L. There are 180 and 220 amps. Assuming you have 180 amps, it is alright to have a higher amperage alternator (220 amps), it will not pose any problems to the vehicle's electrical system. Amperage will flow to only those components that can use the energy and supply as much amperage as the component can consume. So this part is fine.
