Question: I replaced the blower motor resistor due to the fan continuously running when shorting off the ignition switch, I install the new resistor I order from you and replaced it but the fan blower still ran again when I plugged the new resistor in, any suggestions as to what else could cause this problem to continue or any other diagnostics I should do?Vetteman07 / Sep 23, 2021 / 2009 Saturn VueBlower Motor Resistor
Hi Michael, I'm pleased to assist you. The blower motor resistor is responsible for controlling the blower motor speed. We recommend having the vehicle checked by a certified mechanic as it needs real-time troubleshooting and diagnosis to determine what part/s need replacement/s. Have a good one.
